I Don’t Know if I’m Making the ‘Right’ Decisions

When my husband died I had to decide what to do with his life insurance policy. Do I sell my house? Do I pay it off? Do I put the money in an account for my son’s education, or my retirement?

As a couple I’m guessing you made these decisions together. (Ever try to tell a man what to do?)

Well, he’s not here anymore. And if your children are still in the home, as mine was, they’re counting on you to figure stuff out.

But now that he’s gone, every decision is up to you. It’s overwhelming. And yet, I believe in you.  I know you can do this! You just need someone to get your back and steer you in the right direction.

Do I buy gas today or will it be cheaper tomorrow? (My husband always said it would be cheaper tomorrow.)

What do I want to eat tonight? Should I take a vacation this year? Do I want to get another dog? Should I learn how to drive the boat or change my own oil?

It’s overwhelming.

Do you ever just want someone to talk to about all this? I’m here for you and I believe in you. I know this is hard but I know you can do it. Let’s talk.
